It’s that time of year again when the hum of air conditioning units  fills the hot air. It’s also the time that many people realize they need a service call because the a/c just isn’t cooling.  One of the first things checked is the refrigerant level to see if there is a leak.   Every technician needs a refrigerant leak detector, and at Stromquist we recommend Testo’s 316 Refrigerant Leak Detector.

Do you ever need to track temperatures or humidity levels in a certain space for an extended period of time?  Sometimes taking just one reading doesn’t give you a big enough picture; that’s when a data logger comes in handy.  UEi, a leading manufacturer of testing and monitoring equipment, has a great data logger on the market.  It’s small, inexpensive, easy to use, and doesn’t require the purchase of software to download the data.
