AHR EXPO 2012

January 23, 2012  |  All the rest

This years AHR Expo is in the windy city of Chicago. Snow, wind and temperatures dropping down to -11 degrees awaited this Florida boy and his pickem’ up truck driving north.

It has been 35 years since my last driving experience in snow. It was amazing after the first few moments of gut wrenching fear how my mind remembered what my college roomate refered to as the “Southern Boys Snow Driving Rules”.

Rule # 1… The road is ALWAYS left of the big white hump in the middle!
Rule # 2… Traction is a CONTROLLED SKID!
Rule # 3… Optimum speed for driving in snow see rule 2!
Rule # 4… If the snow is above the wheels of your pickup STAY HOME!

Guess I did forget Rule 4…

My plan is to give our readers the most up to date information on the EXPO that I can on what’s new at the show.

In the mean time enjoy a couple of these pictures and I guess for now I better find that BIG WHITE HUMP again.
