A locking regulator is a regulator that will close off bubble tight when the downstream pressure reaches regulator spring set point.

Hello Bill

Can you tell me what the difference is on a locking regulator as opposed to non locking?
We are using a class 1 reg on a 2 lb system going to an 11 " WC gas appliance regulator.
How can I be sure that the ORA Type 90 Class 1 reg is a "locking" type reg?
we are having hard cold start issues (top burners won't light first thing in the morning)

Thank-you

Ron
